Cabarete Surf Camp ‘roof – on’ party

Yesterday, we made a celebration with the great (mainly Haitian) workers who have just got the surf camp roof on. Politely and shyly, they took a beer and one or two chips and had their photos taken. We bought beers, rum and coke, sprite etc. + Doritos. The beers slowly disappeared and Jim and I decided to go and get more. We were only gone 5 minutes and when we returned with more beer, the shyness had all gone, so had the rum and all the chips. They swarmed on the extra beer like locusts and we left them all having a drunken blast. :) They deserved it.
