Best week ever!
My best friend and I recently spent a week at Swell. We both felt that it was one of the best weeks of our lives! One of my most favourite trips I have ever been on.

Everything was amazing! The rooms are spacious and clean. The food prepared at camp is delicious and they catered to me being a vegetarian. The grounds are so magnificently kept. Everything is beautiful. We felt super safe the entire time.

The other guests staying at camp were awesome and we had a blast making new friends. There’s plenty to do in town to stay busy, but also a lot of downtime to chill out and relax.

I hadn’t been surfing in a couple of years and was a bit nervous, but after only our first lesson with Lee as our instructor, we felt confident and quickly started catching waves. Lee and Neno really made us feel safe in the water the entire time, and I really appreciated their patience, knowledge and enthusiasm. 10/10!!! I left as a much better surfer than when I arrived.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking! We will for sure be back!

  • Think of Swell as the anti-surf camp. There’s plenty of surfing, of course, but the similarities to other camps end there. For starters, the rooms are stylish — more boutique hotel than reggae-loving surfer digs. Then there are the legendary breakfasts (omelets, pancakes and crepes, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and fruit bowls). Structured surf lessons take place each morning, with an instructor alongside you and the head surf coach watching from shallow water, ready to offer learn to surf tips between riding waves.”
